Founded in Milan in 1997, Alberto Levi Gallery continues a family tradition in rugs and textiles that dates back to the nineteenth century. Originally focused on antique carpets and textiles from across the Middle East, Asia, and North Africa, the gallery has evolved into an early champion of contemporary rug design, working with leading designers and artists from around the world.
Today, the gallery combines a deep knowledge of antique textiles with a contemporary approach to custom-made carpets and flat-weaves, exploring a wide range of materials, techniques, colors, and designs. Many of its contemporary collections draw from the forms and traditions of the antiques that have shaped the gallery since its beginning.
Our partnership with Alberto Levi Gallery begins with Par terre, a rug collection by Milan-based interior designer Barbara Frua, bringing together her distinctive designs with the gallery’s longstanding expertise in textile art and craftsmanship.
