Clara Molina

Chilean artist Clara Molina creates luminous paper sculptures and installations that transform flat surfaces into atmospheric, three-dimensional forms. Self-taught, she came to sculpture after over twenty years in the book industry. Her process is meditative — hand-folding paper without industrial molds, allowing the material to find its own structure. Light is not an afterthought but a core element, used internally to reveal shadows and vibrations that make solid paper appear ephemeral.

From intimate domestic pieces to large-scale architectural installations, her work is an investigation into how a simple material can become an immersive spatial experience.
