Uniting heritage and innovation, the meditative work of Morii celebrates the power of craft and design as a social and cultural catalyst: paradoxically both preserving and transforming centuries old textile and embroidery techniques that are a part of India’s matchless textile heritage. Stewarded by women in rural communities for generations, these techniques–which are in danger of being lost–are now part of a global design vision under the artistic eye of Brinda Dudhat.
