The Ungapatchka Epicormia table lamps were inspired by the rapid, brightly colored regrowth that shoots from the trunks of Eucalyptus trees after a wild fire. They were made for exhibition in Milan for Design Week 2022 and were shown in the design offices of SpazioRT, a highly regarded Milanese Architecture, Interiors and Design practice. The original shades were made using the drop cloths from my studio, these were recently replaced with new larger shades, a collaboration with Landscape painter, Lana Daubermann, (both versions pictured).
