The Wall Cabinet emerged from wood inlay experiments at the Phantom Hands workshop and collaborations with traditional inlay artisans from Mysore. x+l responded by designing a contemporary inlay pattern for a functional object—a versatile cabinet that serves as storage, bar cabinet, or writing desk when the flap is lowered.
Available in two patterns: Split Level Rooms and Tower of Shadows, inspired by Le Corbusier’s Tower of Shadows in Chandigarh.
